VERY IMPORTANT: Use Windows 10 when you buy this computer. It originally shipped with Windows 8 and at the time it was sent to me it was downgraded to Windows 7. THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE. Downgrading a Windows 8 computer to Win 7 caused a HUGE amount of problems. In fact, the computer didn't work at all. After upgrading to Win 8 and then to Win 10, all issues were resolved and everything is working properly. I had to do some research to figure out why it worked so poorly with Windows 7, but that's because it wasn't designed for that OS at all. Everything about this laptop is good except the screen. The screen itself doesn't have a very good resolution, 1366 x 786, which is barely HD anymore in my opinion. For example, my parents bought me an HP Pavilion G60 at Walmart for $350. It had exactly the same screen resolution. That was in 2008. I plan on using this laptop with monitors so that's not a problem, but if you're planning to buy this laptop for the movies and HD content that's shown on the screen, you might want to look into getting a slightly better screen . The screen isn't washed out or low resolution, but it's noticeable if you're used to a 1080p monitor. Pros: - HP Coolsense cooling the computer, I haven't seen it get very hot at all even when - running hungry programs - The laptop is thin and light, VERY LIGHT. The size is impressive. Cons: - Screen - 2 in 1 headphone/mic jack (pros for headphone mic) BTW: THERE IS A FINGERPRINT SCANNER ON THIS LAPTOP IN THE PHOTO. Mine wasn't included.
