I'm on my third pressure switch. The compressor is installed in the receiving box and protected from the weather by a barrel casing. Splashes of water from washing the crate ruined the last breakdown. Support has stated that any moisture will cause these switches to fail. You're right. I completely sealed the case and cable gland with RTV silicone caulk and the third has been working for over a year. If it doesn't work again I'll buy another brand and style. Not recommended for installation under the vehicle. Given the popularity of Viair compressors, I would rate this switch as undesirable.
