Compared to my old tablet stand, the stop and move design is better. Fewer moving parts mean less risk of breakage. It's large enough to securely support my iPad Air2 in a variety of configurations. still easy. It's nice and compact. The only issue I've noticed is that when I stand on the tablet in portrait mode, my tablet turns off, the power button is pressed while I'm standing upright on the tray. This is easily circumvented by flipping the tablet to the side with no power button. There is no space in the stand to store your tablet or charger. The padding is soft foam. While a bit bulky, it fits easily in a backpack, but I'm not sure I'd take it with me if space is limited.
