I was disappointed that the 5.5 gallon Aqueon glass tank didn't come with a lid or backlight so I came here for one order. does not fit in the upper hole dimensions, but just fits perfectly. After ordering this little plastic cover for thirty bucks, I found that the filter cutout is only 6.25 x 1.25 according to the review here. So when I measured my Aqueon 10 filter I was nervous it wouldn't fit because it measures at least 3. Took it out of the box when it arrived today, installed it perfectly in seconds and the filter fit the cutout RIGHT. Only PART of the filter goes in towards the neckline while the rest hangs down the back. So I worried for nothing. Inserting the LED panel into the slot under the cover was the hardest part, but even that only took a minute. After running the cord through the rail, I turned everything back on, plugged it in, and flipped the switch to turn it on. Voila! Great easy install. Very satisfied.
