Good quality. I had to glue pieces of leather to the tops so they wouldn't damage my designs. The tip is quite sharp and I saw that it could potentially damage my designs so I put leather inside. The hardware is nice and solid. As I get more into leatherworking I'm sure I'll have more comments on this, but for now as a beginner in leatherworking I'm very happy to be able to hand sew items.
