This worked great for use in place of a pin hitch on a recently purchased platform. The pin hitch is great for heavy loads, but we needed to be able to tow different trailers with different ball sizes and tongue heights and not have a pin hitch trailer. This hitch says it's rated for a trailer weight of 20,000 pounds and a drawbar weight of 2,000 pounds, which is more than we could tow with it. It bolted directly to the holes on the back of the Knapheide platform where the rotary coupler was previously attached. It doesn't get much easier than that.
