You get what you paid for
They're worth it because they're cheap and it's a good way to practice with different knives to see what you like so you can buy better ones later . They are easy to hold and I love the handy case they come in. Some of the knives have scratches or rough bits that I have to try to grind away and some of them are not very sharp and shaped, difficult to sharpen and fling. The biggest issue I had was the V and U knives chipping on the underside making them difficult to use and it's not something I would want to use for anything other than practice and not working on a real carving project would.
