Firstly the product itself is great. It has a very strong magnet. Looks great. Nice minimalist design that is easy to keep clean. The only thing to watch out for is something mentioned in some other reviews that I want to pay more attention to. If you follow the written instructions and try to attach it to the fridge, it will fall off. The instructions state that you must remove the metal plate from the back, then remove the plastic covering the magnet and reattach the metal plate. This is the last step that will get you into trouble. I followed the instructions at first and with the metal plate the magnet is barely strong enough to support its own weight. I then had to bend the metal plate (not easy without hurting my fingers). When the metal plate is removed the rod sticks nice and tight to the fridge and holds all my knives with no problem.
