I have never used an airbrush in my life but always wanted one as a kid. I'm glad I didn't have it because I would probably be disappointed and never try again. With three different airbrushes, you can easily find the one that works best for you, giving you either the best coverage or the most detail. I've used quite a few different types of paint - thick, thin, metallic, gloss, matte, light, dark, etc - and they all worked great. My only complaint is that dried paint builds up around the nozzle when working on low air pressure parts, but that's an easy fix. Which is only worth the fact that I don't have to use brushes!
