This is a good screen filter. It has the option to mount two ways and you can choose anti reflective or glossy toward the viewer. Glossy is more effective at privacy but I choose the matte for less eye strain. When sitting two to three feet from the monitor, the outside edges of the screen start to dim somewhat, and the overall image is not as bright and crisp. I've found this to be true of all privacy filters though. It's a tradeoff you have to live with.
