The vacuum cleaner wasn't working well so I took it apart thinking it needed cleaning and found the belt had snapped - snapped in half and on the hair got stuck in the roller. fuuu. Did a thorough cleaning and put on a new belt and now it runs like a champ. (I watched a YouTube video on how to disassemble and clean it and it was easy.) It takes a bit of muscle power to snap the pulley back into place after the new belt is put on, but it can be done .
