. My current hobby is adult painting and I want my work to be perfect no matter what I do with it. For this reason I have both soft pencils and polychrome pencils that I use in a lot of my work. I like to get a really sharp point and I work a lot on the details as well. I have yet to find a sharpener that can sharpen my soft tip pencils and not break them so I use a whetstone to get a good point which is difficult and I have cut myself before using this method. This is a battery powered pencil. a sharpener that can get you as sharp as you want without the core of your pencil crumbling or simply breaking which wastes pencils and anyone interested in adult coloring knows these pencils don't come cheap. Once you put the batteries in and are ready to go, you have two different sharpener widths. One is for 6-8mm pencils and 9-12mm pencils. This selection of pens to work with should cover all the pens you have, from graphite to colored pencils. To keep it nice and sharp for all pencils, you should swipe a regular school pencil through it from time to time as it will help clean the wax. and oil-based pencil residue from dulling the blades. It has a large chip holder so all your chips are in one place and it doesn't make much mess when you empty it. It is small and compact and can be stored on a desk or in a desk drawer. The sharpener turns on and off automatically when the pencil gets sharp so it doesn't keep chewing on your pencil. This is my new sharpener for all my colored pencils.
