I always take women's size 18 in a thick jacket. I thought I made a mistake buying size 20 (2xx) but obviously size 18 is too small. You can take it to the bank. I ALWAYS wear a women's size 18, even if I'm 10 pounds under or over. They are undersized. I love this jacket, the length and long zip work well. I wish it had pockets that were easier to open/open. The zippers on the pockets are small and cannot be closed with one hand. I bought a fanny pack because my phone doesn't fit in pockets or doesn't have a zipper (Samsung Note 9).
