I love my 99th suburb just as much as I did when I bought it new. The Vortec 350 has been a real workhorse for me and has given me 300,000 (almost) accident-free kilometers. One thing I don't like about this truck is the fuel pumps. I have replaced 6 fuel pumps on this truck since 1999. A lot of people tell me this is a common problem with this truck, but here's what I've learned over the years as an owner. Don't try to save a few bucks by buying a cheaper pump, you'll end up spending more money. Delco brand pumps have outlasted many other cheaper offerings I've had over the years. The pump was shipped quickly from Amazon and came with some instructions, a new O-ring and power plug. The price was also unbeatable. Very happy with the purchase!
