Review on 🌊 Proteus L5: Wi-Fi Water Level/Sump Monitor with Buzzer & Alerts by Derek Helvie

This is a nifty little device with relatively simple setup. I'm concerned about my sump pump failing and my basement flooding, so I'd like a device that would give me advance warning if the water level is getting too high, specifically via text message or email. Another issue I had was reliable Wi-Fi connection, especially since it's in my basement, but the connection has been solid since I installed it a month ago. There is an option on the website under your cloud account that will send you an alert if the device hasn't contacted the server for a while. This is an added bonus that may let me know if the home's power is out or not. also a beep which is good when you are at home. My only complaint, and it's a very small one, is that I can't customize the alerts for specific text, but you can add as many phone numbers and email addresses as you like to the notifications list. The "monitoring” service is free, which is another plus. I would say this device is worth the price for preventing a major flood.
