Lots of YouTube tutorials on how to program key and fob functions. To be honest it looks like a cheat code from a game in gta on ps2. The hardest part (not that hard) is cutting the key; None of the big stores like Walmart or Fred Meyers helped so I eventually tracked down a local locksmith and they cut the key for $4. I went through this process 3 times as I needed a couple of spare keys and I would not hesitate to buy again if I needed another. The range on the bunch of keys is also impressive. Sometimes almost 50 meters. Not sure about the longevity of the key or how to replace the battery when it dies after a few years but it seems to me to be about the same quality as some of the other OEM switchblade keys I have, so I put them on. No worries, especially in this price range.
