I wish buyers had more specific information about the transponder to actually start the car. Programmed a key fob that works great but won't start my 2003 Sequoia car.

Very pleased, it was easy to program and worked great on my 2003 4Runner. It's really nice to have a duplicate key that moves folds up for my purse or pocket and feels very strong and solid. Definitely worth your money!

2003 Toyota Sequoia. That does not work. You can program it with Techstream, but the immobilizer's chip doesn't recognize it, so you can't start the car, rendering it useless. The locksmith tried four different expensive computers and couldn't get them to work.

I bought this but after looking at it there is no option to replace the battery if it dies. Seems like a lot of steps to program it but seems doable. If I could find a way to get to the battery I would cut out the key and program it. I asked but never got an answer so I assumed the battery was not replaceable so I sent it back for a refund.

Finally a compact keychain set! Pros: I like that I can have everything in one set instead of two. It's not heavy, it's small, and overall it feels pretty sturdy. .Disadvantage: I don't have trunk clearance. The damn panic button is very sensitive. Double-clicking the unlock button gives different results to unlock all doors. Other Notes: You'll probably have to find the keychain programming sequence on YouTube, only one nailed it for me after trying 3 times.

Love this key, I've thought long and hard about getting one for my old Toyota Sequoia. When I tried to program it into my car it was difficult.
