Don't fall for a damaged box deal.
When it's too good to be true. I use a lot of them. Ball and Kerr are the only brands I use. When I saw an offer for damaged boxes I gave it a try. They explained that the goods were checked (lids, bowls). A whole set was damaged when I received them. They were bent. I would have kept one, but that wasn't an option. Because those who read this are mostly conservatives. Don't be fooled by fairly clear jars, they do break during processing, even when canned in a water bath. Instead, I used the rest to store dried foods.
