I bought these because I needed something that I can put on quickly and easily carry around the house and also in the garden. The build quality is pretty good, they are comfortable and offer good toe protection in case you get injured outdoors or at home. The only thing that doesn't make them very good is their breathability. I bought these thinking they would be breathable as they are quite open shoes but they actually make my feet sweat more than any sneakers or boots I have ever worn. I can't wear them for more than a few minutes or my feet start to sweat which also makes athlete's foot a problem I've never had before. They may work better with socks, but no one wants to wear socks with sandals unless they are an elderly person.
