I've mowed my garden 1 time (with a ride on mower) and made 3 kayak trips and loved them until I wanted to wear them for the 5th time and the sole separates on both. I can put my toe in one shoe and the other is just starting to wear out. So close to a five star rating for everyday use they perform as expected. They look good, feel good. A couple of times I went to the beach, as soon as they got wet, be it water or submersion, they were inundated with water for hours. I didn't buy these as water shoes but figured they could get wet a little better. But they can be worn anywhere dry. Not sure about hiking, I prefer closed trainers/boots.

I was surprised by the comfort of these sandals and the extra toe box. I have used them on the beach and in everyday situations. I'd say they're good for light adventures but maybe not strong enough for serious hiking. I like the way they look and they were quite comfortable. Unfortunately, they have already started to fall apart. The sole started to loosen in it on my second run after crossing the water. I don't know if the water was the cause or just a coincidence, but they are so far apart that now small stones can easily get in and cause discomfort. I had to throw them away after a month of use.

They look great, are well made and just the right length. However, they squeeze my legs significantly on the sides. My feet are a bit wide, but I've had enough experience with regular width shoes to know that they can always be worn somehow. They have a pressure point in the middle which makes them very uncomfortable. I will try them out though because everything else about them is great. I hope wearing them for a while will solve the problem, otherwise I'll give them away.
