Review on 🔧 Autel Intelligent Technology TS508 TPMS Complete Tool by Tommy Clement

Sensor my tire dealer installed. The MaxiTPMS TS508 was the cheapest, well tested device I could find that claimed to work with a 2008+ Mitsubishi Lancer and did both: activate the sensor on the wheel. and reprogramming vehicle TPMS codes through the vehicle's OBDII port. It was incredibly easy to use, with several YouTube videos showing general use, and the device itself provided step-by-step written instructions on the screen as I followed the process. An OEM Mitsubishi sensor that I bought from a local Mitsubishi dealer, so I needed a device that could activate any manufacturer's sensor, read its code and reprogram my car with the code read. The TS508 did it all. Note that this model's bigger brother, the TS501, seems to get the job just as easily done as the TS508, but possibly a few bucks cheaper. I bought the TS508 because I wanted the latest and greatest because that's how I ride. Autel touts the ability of the TS Series TPMS tools to reprogram Autel brand TPMS sensors to match the codes of the original equipment sensors they replace. I would definitely consider going down that route and just buying an Autel sensor to replace the OEM sensor if another sensor ever fails, but that's not the functionality I'm looking for in this case or have tested. -Programming with a visit to my dealer for about half the original cost of this unit, but. 1) I hate unnecessary visits to the dealer. 2) I'm afraid that any dealer contact with my OBDII port could overwrite the performance programming I've done on my car. 3) I believe this device will pay for itself when I switch sensors again.
