I bought this timer mainly for everyday use in piano lessons. Has worked flawlessly for about a month. Then one day it suddenly switched the entire display to a blinking 88:88 and refused to answer unless I could wait 510 minutes. If I had waited that long, he might have gone back to work. Only the next time he showed the same 88:88 again and expected me to give him another 5-10 minute break. I think it's a quality control issue or too many angles to make a beautiful product unreliable.
