A good basic cut for eggs and soft cheese. Mozzarella is a soft cheese, if you want to slice hard cheese you need another slicer, it won't work and will probably break as it's not designed for hard food. Thanks to its large size and thin blade, it is also suitable for large mushrooms. Some mushrooms are larger than the smaller mushroom/egg cutter. The hinge closes easily and cuts very well through soft foods, forming nice, even slices, perfect for getting fresh mozzarella and slicing it for pizza or caprese salads. Sample provided for review
