Review on MIO Slice: Enhanced Heart Rate and Activity Tracker by Charles Mcneil

Sometimes crazy BPM values!

This Mio Slice that measures your heart rate throughout the day is a good idea. Also translate to a single PAI score so you can easily determine if you are healthy. The downside is that the PAI score is more accurate for high-level athletes than it is for regular people like me. Moving normally throughout the day will not earn you PAI points. When I do a 30 minute workout at home, I usually only get 1 to 3 PAI points. However, sometimes SLICE goes nuts over measuring the beats per minute and you end up getting dozens of PAI points with very little work. I've noticed this in two different situations: 1. When you move your arms too much during a workout (e.g.) and stay that way even after you've finished your run and move on to other exercises. . Here's how you can get over 30 PAI points in less than 30 minutes for one fake exercise. Worse, sometimes SLICE goes haywire on vacation. I'm perfectly calm watching TV and out of nowhere the bmp goes from around 55 to jumps of 80 to 100 and stays that high for about two hours of TV. So I received 15 PAI in absolute peace! It seems that during these "crazy" periods, SLICE is delivering erroneous BMP values that are about twice the real values. I checked the real values again and again with the help of a cuff to measure blood pressure. There is still a lot to improve on this MIO SLICE.
