Sometimes crazy BPM values!

This Mio Slice that measures your heart rate throughout the day is a good idea. Also translate to a single PAI score so you can easily determine if you are healthy. The downside is that the PAI score is more accurate for high-level athletes than it is for regular people like me. Moving normally throughout the day will not earn you PAI points. When I do a 30 minute workout at home, I usually only get 1 to 3 PAI points. However, sometimes SLICE goes nuts over measuring the beats per minute and…

I love this fitness monitor and the idea behind it

I really like this fitness monitor and the idea behind it. It's easy to set up and easy to use. I love that it measures a sliding 7-day window, so no day looks too good or too bad. I love that it adjusts to my fitness level. So as I get better I need to do more to get my heart rate up and earn a pie. I like that it is based on heart rate and not steps. I love that it automatically tracks my sleep (I don't have to tell it I'm going to sleep). There are a few things I don't really like: The…

Has the basis of a really great system but is weak in execution.

Slice has a lot of good stuff. I think the basic idea is right - steps are very superficial and don't measure anything. Heart rate is a much better indicator if you want to measure physical activity. Everything is fine with the device as a whole - quite convenient. It is able to read your pulse. It sends data to your phone where the app gives you a score.
