This fan is exactly what I was looking for - you can leave it in the car, charge it via USB and wear it around your neck with a lanyard. I looked at a few more models. Some of them were cheaper and made by good brands but looked too small for a fan producing enough air. I wanted something that could provide good airflow to cool me down on those hot Florida days. This one does just that. A bit noisy, but no more than expected. Until Noctua makes a battery-powered portable fan, it's going to be as good as it can be in that regard. I like that there are three speed levels. If I had one complaint it would be that the three speed settings should be controlled by a switch rather than a knob cycling through them. However, this is a very minor complaint. Overall I'm happy with it and will leave it charging in the car so I can always take it with me and take it with me when I'm doing something outside when it's hot and humid.
