(see below for pros and cons) This collar is fantastic! The design and the call are great. It is lightweight and ideal for small cats. The fabric is silky and has a slightly rough feel. I haven't had any issues with ripping, tearing, or breaking, but I'm skeptical about durability. It's very light so the tearing or ripping mentioned above is a possibility and I'll update the review if there are any issues in the future. The cocking mechanism is something I've never seen before, and while it's handy, you can also slip if the cat manages to get her paw in. This is a great breakaway/safety mechanism, but it also allows the collar to get caught under the cat's paw and around the neck, which unfortunately has happened before. It hasn't happened again, so I'm not really worried just yet, but it's definitely something to watch out for. Due to the potential lack of strength (thin fabric), risk and size, I find this collar a bit pricey. But it's certainly nice and I would recommend it to cats who are used to wearing a collar (who don't try to take it off). Pros: - light weight - nice design - smooth fabric - tear-off mechanism Cons: - potential rips and tears - risk of snagging/twisting if a cat tries to take it off - relatively easy detachment - not very durable
