Bought this for my cat about a month ago (vet estimates she is about 7 months old but is a bit small for her age, only about 6lbs) . Its adaptability means it will fit her from 6 months old and should stay fit into adulthood. It seems strong enough to possibly hold her for a lifetime. It took her a while to get used to it and I have a funny video clip of her rolling on the floor on her first try. But a good kitten can't be held, and now she can easily do anything with her that she could do without her (including climbing tall trees if I let her!). Realizing the straps would work, I quickly ordered a longer (and retractable) one!
