Review on Sun Company TempaComp - Ball Compass and Thermometer Carabiner - Outdoor Accessory for Hiking, Backpacking, Camping - Clip On to Backpack, Parka, Jacket by Robert Farrar

It was in the sun in my backpack and the thermometer now has a few lines of liquid running the length of the thing. The compass still works fine but I had to re-glue it where it is held on aluminum. I've tried putting the thermometer in the freezer and swirling it around with string to get the liquid, alcohol I'm guessing, back into the container, but that didn't work. I had high hopes, but it didn't come true.
