Review on Acoustic Audio HT 85 Ceiling Theater by Malik Munns

I wanted to like it. They are very well thought out. I bought a new Pioneer VSX receiver and Polk Sub based on Amazon reviews, hooked them all up to these Acoustic Audio speakers and it sounded terrible. Not only bad but pretty awful, my wife and mum who were also visiting thought it was wrong too. There are no mids at all, just a very tinny treble and some bass in all speakers. Tried to change the speaker wire did not help. I changed every Pioneer setting I could think of, didn't help. I hooked up my old Panasonic all-in-one speakers to the system and they sounded pretty good, which confirmed to me that it was these speakers and nothing else. Ordered Micca ceiling speakers and they sound really amazing with the same setup. I'd be fine if they just sounded decent, but while they might be fine for a mall bathroom, they were by no means good enough for a home theater. I may have received a defective set, but they will be sent back.
