Review on 💧 GMB 150-2320 Water Pump with Gasket - Replacement Part for OE Models by Keith Alvord

My water pump does not match the picture. Orings were different. Both were red, not black and red. The color (usually) indicates the composition of the material and I want to get what was in the picture. In addition, they are already pre-installed - contrary to the picture, but I do not judge. The item was packaged fairly well and was still able to hit the machined sealing surface directly. Straight out of the bag, no idea how, but I'd bet scratches and dings and that's why they're relatively cheap/sold at Revain. Other than that, it's an almost identical copy of the original that I removed. Included Images. The original weighs more. I found my water pump to be fine, in amazing shape indeed. It was the first ring of two to leak, causing confusion. Stupid. I'm half tempted to just reuse it. A Japanese production like this is not at all what they tout these days and this old pump may be one of the last of its kind. I think the added weight of the original is that the fins are made of steel while the new ones are made of steel appear to be aluminum or a steel alloy.
