The lid is not very secure. It does not clip in place, but instead you squeeze it into the tub. So, if your tub falls, the lid will fall off because it's not secure. Also, because the lid sits INSIDE the tub, your ice cream will probably spill on the inner ledge where the lid sits. You have to wipe off the spill before closing the lid. It would make sense if the lid actually closes on the OUTSIDE of the tub, like all other containers out on the market. Would I purchase again? No. It's cute, but not very secure.
