This is a STRONG heavy gauge steel mounting plate that is a perfect match for the standard Rubicon Hard Rock bumper. The installation took me about 4 hours in total. Pretty easy installation process and I could probably get it done in a few hours now. I read somewhere that it took 2 guys about 12 hours but they must have been blindfolded and ignorant because it was easy. A NOTICE. It comes with all the necessary hardware. Use the 2 large screws on the sides and the existing screws in the factory bumper for the front mounting position. The only thing you need to trim/grind is the front mount of the original vacuum tank mount. I just reused the rear arm of the same bracket to reinstall the vacuum canister. (You really only need one screw to hold it in place and upright). Yes, I think it's stupid to shell out a few hundred bones for a piece of steel, but it's made specifically for a Hard Rock bumper, and this one is the lowest. the price I could find. Others sell the same thing for about $40 more. what is stupid. You won't invent anything better, so just get the right one that fits perfectly. This is no child's play. Dead easy. I should have made a video on YouTube but I didn't. I installed a Smittybilt XRC 9500 winch which was a perfect fit.
