Don't save if you don't have to. I did it and now I'm paying 3 times more because it's rubbish. The blades are sharp but the tool itself is poorly made. I don't know what exactly this skiver has. It will not bite the skin without significant effort and the strangest angles. This thing will give you premature arthritis if you try to use it for too long.
