I was initially skeptical about ordering such a fancy branded machine as I hadn't seen it in person but have used the brand on my own before but I decided to roll the dice and make the buy. . It arrived on time and well packaged. I unpacked the machine and all the components and they were all of a higher quality than I expected. The flexible shaft to adapt the machine for dual voltage operation worked seamlessly and required no wiring to change the input voltage, unlike many other cheaper dual voltage plasma cutters and welders. The instructions were helpful and informative which helped set it up in less than 5 minutes. I tried it at 120v with reduced air pressure on a 1/8 angle, the pilot arc worked as it should and went through like it wasn't even there. The next thing I tried was a tube about 3/8 thick that I had to cut and make a notch for the roll cage on my back car. Cutting this material was a bit slower, but with increased air pressure it made a clean cut in this pipe in one pass. I also had to cut some fairly thick expanded metal, and with the help of a pilot arc I was able to make all the necessary cuts in the expanded metal in one even pass. I didn't have to restart the arc to cut each individual rod of expanded metal. This machine replaced a $1700 machine my ex stole and I personally think it was a lot easier to set up and actually more user friendly. The only time I had problems was when the car was stationary when I was too lazy to properly clean the ground terminal and it weighed on me completely. While I have no regrets about this car.
