I used this bike rack to transport two electric bikes for a 900+ mile trip. I needed a very strong rack because each bike weighs 55 pounds. and very expensive. I didn't want to risk damaging my bikes with the flimsy rack I had before. This bike rack is very durable and exceeded my expectations! I could comfortably go 75 plus mph on both freeways and very twisty country roads, and the trunk and bikes have always been very stable! It attaches firmly and easily to my SUV. The buckles are made of durable metal and close securely. My 2 bikes were spaced far apart and didn't touch or rub. This rack easily fits more bikes when placed closer together. Thick strong poles.
