This fan looks exactly like the picture. It arrived on time and carefully packaged. Just take out the box. Unwind the power cord and connect it to the fan and then to a power outlet. Press the power button to turn the device on or off. Do you want the "Next" button to fluctuate "Yes" or "No"? The next button is for the desired "wind" strength. Tilt it in the right direction and you're on your way. It is so easy. I am amazed at how beautiful and quiet it is here. When I'm sitting next to a fan, I don't have to turn on the TV or the phone. A previous review said it can generate strong gusts of wind. I expressly disagree. I would say sitting no more than 4 feet from a fan set at 10 and not shaking the wind is about the same as a light natural breeze. While attractive, it's easy to clean and quiet if it's a good strong wind you're looking for cooling. You on these hot nights, in my opinion, this is not a fan for you. However, if you're looking for a nice quiet extra fan to add to your home, this one will work just fine.
