Review on Radioddity PC001 FTDI USB Programming Cable w/ Plug and Play | Compatible with Most Analog Two Way Radios (2-Pin K Plug) by Marquez Hinshaw

Program your radio with ease, without driver fuss.

I bought this programming cable as a replacement. I've used it on several of my radios and haven't had a single programming problem. It has an official FTDI chip inside, so there's no fuss about downloading drivers or anything. It's really plug and play. I've used it with my Mac Mini and it works flawlessly. In my experience, read and write times are about the same as my other programming cable from BTECH. However, this one is a few euros cheaper. I've attached a picture of two cables with a Radioddity cable on the left and a BTECH cable on the right and they both look very similar. Radio station Retevis, Wouxun on the market. What he will not program are DMR radios, as these radios have the chipset built into the radio itself. This is not a fault of this cable, just the design of these radios. Due to the ease of use of this cable as it is true plug and play, save yourself a few bucks and give this one a try.
