Radioddity PC001 FTDI USB Programming Cable w/ Plug and Play | Compatible with Most Analog Two Way Radios (2-Pin K Plug) Review

I had to download the driver from FTDI. After I did that, everything is fine. Bought to replace the broken one that came with the Radioddity GA-510.

It Just Works. No hassles with drivers or other unexpected surprises. I would have preferred a more standard/modern way of programming my radios (USB-C or Micro-USB) but that's not the product's fault.

Nothing happens when I plug it in. The link to the company website to download the driver doesn't even work anymore. I thought I saved $17 but instead I just wasted my time. I was supposed to get the cable for $32.

This FTDI cable did not initially work with Windows and the Radioddity GM 30 it is designed for. After two weeks of fiddling and emailing Radioddity tech support (5 stars) everything is working now.
