I first came across the Artist Loft brand when I was buying art supplies for an art class and needed money (the price was about the only thing I could afford at the time). This stamp lays down on paper thick and very smooth! The colors are very bright and easy to blend. To get the best out of them you need to use the right type of paper or they won't turn out as smooth. I've also tried shades of gray and they definitely worked flawlessly! I would recommend this brand to anyone just starting out in art. You can't beat the price and quality of this brand
