I was surprised at how thick the plastic was on this chopper. It seems very significant and how it will last for a long time. I was intrigued by the sales photo of half a red onion in the chopper, so I gave it a try. It took quite a bit of force, but the chopper held up perfectly. I think I'll cut it into four pieces in the future so as not to press as hard, but I was very impressed that the plastic doesn't bend or break with such force. Overall a good product for the price. I really appreciate all the attachments that come with it, as well as the little storage bins for parts. It's always difficult to sacrifice storage space for a purpose-built device, but with the variety of tasks it can perform, it's well worth it. .
