Super upset and afraid to buy another one as I'm fine.

I used a rubber mallet and hit it evenly. After a few weeks it kind of fell off. I just noticed today that he's missing. I was very annoyed and afraid to buy another one as I attached it as tightly as I could. Waste of money but I see others had no problems.
