What can I say about this tool! $30+ vs $900+? No, it's understandable. I refurbished my 2004 F-150 (4.6L v8) with a little time and patience! Driven over 6000 km and still on the way! Make sure to put LOTS of lube on the faucet and SLOWLY cut the steps back and forth, cleaning the faucet every 2 or 3 turns. A cheap telephone scope is great for knowing how deep to screw the insert in! Using RED Permanent Lock-tite and a 24 hour repair permit to grab the glue was all I needed to complete my DIY repair. Tip, get the LOCKING long extension for a set of sockets. This gives you additional security at the beginning of the cutting phase. Before cutting, make sure your faucet is STRAIGHT and CENTERED, you only have ONE CHANCE! Just take your time and make sure you blow out the cylinder when you're done (leave the plug and crank the engine to use the compression to blow out dirt). DO NOT ATTEMPT TO START FROM THE FORK! Much luck!
