but it will NOT just be a good part

So, with the understanding that this is a universal cooler, there are a few complaints. The main problem is that there is no way to fix this cooler. The standard GM rubber mount method seemed to work, but not well enough for serious vibration. it will fall out of place. No flanges around the tanks, no weld lugs, no brackets, nothing. For some, that's perfect. but it will NOT just be a nice partial drop so be careful. Well, if you plan on adding protrusions or flanges, that's great. You can easily weld flanges or bosses wherever you need them. The tanks are formed sheet metal parts and then fully welded to the core. I wish the filler could be easily cut and modified, but it is a one piece piece welded to the inside of the tank and is very difficult to remove without damaging it. Mine had a brass drain valve, but the thread form on it isn't great so it may not seal without rethreading, or some type of sealant needs to be used. The radiator inlet and outlet pipes can be easily cut and welded and the ends of the pipes have a bead to prevent the hoses from slipping off as it should. In general, the universal part is a good starting point for building what you need, but not very practical for tossing in a closet. The quality is good but there are some things that need improvement.
