If you want a ready-to-use sharp knife, look elsewhere.
Have previously purchased other Split Jack products, all very good. This knife is good value for money apart from the fact that it is only suitable for slicing butter. I honestly think they knocked out the blade, put it in a plastic handle and approved it. So I went to our local hardware which was sharpened for $3.50 and is now razor sharp and ready to be used as intended.
