Review on Waterproof Sealant Endhokn Bathroom Water Based by Duane Mann

stayed tacky for days

I used this to keep some flower pots dry that I painted. Since they are exposed to sunlight, I need UV protection to prevent yellowing, as well as a waterproof coating so that when watering the plants, the water doesn't destroy the painted decoration. I know that's not what it's primarily intended for, so keep that in mind. It's a thick milky white gel that I brushed onto a plastic pot and a ceramic pot so none was porous. The instructions say "shake", but it is impossible, the mass is thick and does not shake in consistency. I found it strange that they told you to shake it, you can hardly stir it. It applied easily, like super thick paint. I simply painted the pots with a small brush. It remained sticky on both pots for three days. I live in Florida and the humidity is high. I'm not sure if it hasn't dried out due to moisture, or if I applied it too thickly, or if it's just not suitable for ceramic or plastic pots. When it finally dried it was clear, shiny and waterproof. I'm a bit worried about how long/how many pots I can get out of this jar. He says to use basically everything at once. I don't understand why he said it would dry in a jar? The portion left in my jar is about a month old now and I tested it before writing this review and it hasn't dried out or anything so I'm still a little unsure as to why recommend using everything immediately.

Pros
  • Easy to use: you can brush, roll, pour and then apply. Apply evenly to cover and penetrate cracks and also acts as a sealer.
Cons
  • Useless functions
