LOVE this scope! I bought it to help me study in my college's general biology labs when open houses were impractical, but I always find something to research with. When one of my pet aquatic snails recently laid eggs, I used this microscope to observe its development and check the young for signs of life after hatching because they were too small to see with the naked eye. quite easy to find the target. Interchangeable table tops are great when you need (or don't need) contrast to get a good view of the sample. Binocular eyepieces make adjustment easier when changing viewers. Cons: - To get the full zoom range. The eyepieces need to be replaced by removing two VERY small screws. Fortunately, I almost never need 10x eyepieces and get along well with 20x. Rough focusing can be a bit tricky when the sample is already on stage. Grip the lens while fiddling with the grip on the back so it doesn't fall on the stage if you loosen it too much.
