Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhance Your Gaming Experience with the Nintendo Wii U Pro Controller - Black by Rich Ferguson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super comfortable and light.

I have had my Wii U for almost 9 months and during that time this has been the only controller I have used on this system unless I have been forced to use the Wii U Control Panel. It's lightweight and very similar to the 360ยฐ controller, however over time I've preferred it over the 360ยฐ controller and even decided that next time I want to use a controller for PC gaming (I prefer kb&m), I will be using this controller via USB instead of using my 360 controller wirelessly. That's right, I'd rather use this controller with a connected cable than a wireless controller. Why? because the d-pad is a real d-pad as opposed to the dreaded d-pad 360. Also, I think I can download some unofficial software to make the controller work via bluetooth over wifi, so that's an option. The battery life is excellent. I've been playing Mario Kart 8 a lot lately since it was released. I play mk8 about 6 hours a week on average, the first 2 weeks more about 20 hours a week. I've only charged this controller 1 time since I've had the MK8 and only 3 times since I've had this controller. The battery appears to be made with some kind of alien technology because it lasts forever. I'm not a gamer who sweats, so I can't say how it would work in this situation or if it would cause analog sticks to disappear or start degrading. But I can say I've never felt the need to wipe it clean. Looks the same as the day I took it out of the box, the analog sticks still look new. My wife has had the white version for about a month now and her analog sticks showed no fading or yellowing of the analog sticks. . But neither is she a sweaty mammal when playing games. I think the analog sticks may eventually become dull or yellow since they are white rubber. But only time will tell. I highly recommend this controller to all Wii U owners, especially those with small hands and problems with the giant Wii U controller.
