Excellent Pro/Con Small Straw with Life Straw

Buy this item together with the straw and see which one is better. Below I have written down my advantages and disadvantages compared to the straw of life. Advantages: 1. 0.1 PM filter vs. 0.2 PM filter. States remove heavy metals, but Life Straw does not. 2. Detachable filter for drying and checking. The straw of life cannot be taken apart. 3. Use a regular water or soft drink bottle to filter the water. The straw of life is not threaded for this. In addition, the red adapter screws on the straw allow the use of optional water accessories "sold separately". CONS: 1. The price was about $2 more than living straw. 2. No inlet cap to keep the filter clean. The fix for this was to put a thin piece of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" plastic between the male threads of the red cap and the female threads of the filter. 3. The standard lifespan is 1500 liters compared to the standard Lifestraw lifespan of 4000 liters. The reason I think this is because WS02 filters have 0.1µm rather than 0.2µm life straw filtering. 4. Life Straw I would say about 1/3 compared to WS02. Again, I would suspect it's due to better filtration, but it's more noticeable when hanging around your neck. Both came with a lanyard to wear around your neck and not fall off to swim in a creek lol. Both are roughly the same length and diameter. I will buy this item again instead of Life Straw. I hope this review helps you.
