Review on Maximizing Accuracy: Fullbow Hang Hook DIY Target for Perfecting Your Aim by Steven Loy

Worth the flyer but not perfect

I'm sure the description shouldn't be misleading, but I got 1" EMT for the legs and 3/4" zinc plated for the cross .As it looks from the pictures it kinda didn't work.I had to spread my legs so the panels were only a foot off the ground.I hung 2 12" steel 3/8's on them and the transom bowed didn't move at all. that was nice. Clamps didn't seize either (see photo). They are slightly bent but I don't see any cracks. The plates I used have square holes oriented in diamond rotation so that the levers that connected them couldn't sit directly on the bar AND the plates.A minor inconvenience as the plates were wedged at the temples so they wouldn't fall off.All in all not a bad product but far from the best . AR 500 steel would be better, but when it comes to your smaller plates or .22 plinks, they might be right up your alley. Probably not ideal for large slabs and gauges.

Pros
  • EMT Conduit NOT INCLUDED. When you buy conduit, you need 1" electric metal pipes or 3/4" pipes instead of 1" pipes. Please make sure your pipe diameter is less than 1.2 inch. Warm reminder: 1 inch Tube diameter is 1.32", it doesn't fit our hooks! DO NOT BUY 1" PIPE! Please buy 1" EMT Conduit!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
